The 16th Home of the Free...Because of the Brave Dinner will once again be held at Fogo De Chao in Tysons, VA on Thursday, September 9. As in years past, the entire restaurant will be closed for this event which will include approximately 60 service men and women (and family members) who are recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital from injuries sustained in defense of our country.
The evening will commence with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30. The 2021 NFL season opening game between the Cowboys and the Buccaneers will be shown on TVs throughout the restaurant.
This is a great opportunity to have a night out with friends while personally showing your support for those who have sacrificed so much for our country. If you have attended any of these dinners in the past, you know that it means a great deal to these impressive young men and women and their family members to have an evening outside of Walter Reed or Fort Belvoir. It means even more for them to personally experience the appreciation and support of other Americans.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Patriot Point, a relaxing and safe environment to enjoy outdoor recreational activities for our nation’s recovering service members, their families and caregivers.
